About Our Client:
Our Client is a Leading Global Electronics Manufacturer with close to 100 years of history, specializing in offering a portfolio of electronic components catering to various industries. They are a multibillion-dollar business globally and are committed to sustainable development with a huge focus on product innovation. To sustain current demand requirements and their commitment to constant product innovation and cost-saving initiatives, they are now looking for an experience Supply Chain Manager to play a lead role in orchestrating the supply chain for strategic business plans.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the strategic & operational development of the Supply Chain and to be in line with strategic mid – long term objective and target; optimizing effectiveness, efficiency and performance. You will execute the supply chain strategy on five key elements; service, lead time, inventory, logistics and capacity management. In alignment with the supply chain strategy, you will set up target-oriented logistics strategy, harmonize supply chain KPI’s and integrate them, driving inventory optimization across the region in line with Global Targets, Customer Service levels, and Supply Reliability.
Other Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with demand forecasting, manufacturing plants and product marketing to understand upcoming New Product Introduction and End of Life programs
  • Develop right order fulfillment strategy for specific parts and right logistics strategy
  • Point of contact & liaison for business and manufacturing plants related to service & lead time
  • Conduct root cause and corrective action for low delivery performance and high inventory products
  • Work with manufacturing plants to understand capacity utilization, proactively resolving capacity pinch points for business

Candidate Profile:
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Management in a low mix/high volume environment. You must have a strong track record and experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning & Management and Distribution Planning. Prior experience or exposure within a regional market and experience in SAP is highly advantageous. You must be bilingual in both English & Mandarin as you will be communicating with internal stakeholders & external clients within the Chinese market; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels.
