Being a member of the core diagnostic tool team in NVIDIA, the qualified candidate will get visibility and hands experience on ALL latest Nvidia SOC chips and products. He/she will work closely with both hardware engineers and other software engineers to design, develop, and debug the high-quality, reliable diagnostic software that is extensively used by all Nvidia SOC chips and Nvidia SOC based systems, including automotive and gaming console products.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop drivers and tests for SOC under the diagnostic software infrastructure, and be responsible for them through the entire development lifecycle.
Analyze failures and tune software required for chip and board screening for our users.
Drive diagnosis of chip and board issues with hardware, software, and operations engineering.
Communicate effectively with various teams throughout the company, as well as customers and partners.
What we need to see:
BS or MS in EE/CS or equivalent experience.
3+ years of industry related experience.
Strong C/C++ programming skills and object oriented programming skills.
Experienced with low level / driver level programming.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and planning skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Have knowledge of Linux kernel internals.
Have a solid understanding of ARM platforms
Experience working with diagnostic software solutions.
